This slipper seamlessly marries casual style and the ability to pamper a woman's feet. The Juliet was designed with a focus on style and wearability and specifically with a woman's needs in mind. Fitting just below the ankle, this slipper is ready to keep those ankles warm with a flip-up cuff available in either natural or stony fleece.
About Old Friend Slippers
Since 1981, Old Friend Slippers has developed a line of slippers unmatched by competitors. Their process produces an almost silk-like feel to their sheepskin. They've removed all textile bindings in favor of garment grade pigskin and have sewn-in detail to avoid any chance of irritants coming in contact with bare feet. Old Friend was also among the first to offer a 100% sheepskin insole instead of the cheaper processed wool used by many. Truly sheepskin specialists, Old Friend offers "wides" and extra large sizes, along with a variety of styles.
Sheepskin Care Instructions
Do not immerse in water. Clean suede leather with a damp cloth and diluted, mild detergent such as Ivory liquid. Rinse cloth and rub again. Remove moisture immediately with a dry cloth.
Rub sheepskin fleece with a wet cloth and mild detergent. Repeat with rinse water and remove moisture with a dry cloth. Brush fleece lightly to renew nap. Always dry your slippers in the shade, never in direct sunlight.
Sheepskin can be freshened with baking soda. Sprinkle baking soda over fleece, let it stand overnight, shake and or vacuum the fleece out the next day. You can also spray lightly with an anti-bacterial spray. Let spray dry before using slipper.

I bought this slipper on my honeymoon 8 years ago at a quaint little shop in Gettysburg, PA. Just like the name, I feel like the slippers are an Old Friend that have never let me down. The ONLY thing that has worn down on them in the 8 years I have had them are in the inside - but only because I wear them so much. The outside still looks great despite being trekked through snow, mud and occasional grocery shopping . The comfort of this slipper is simply that - comfortable! You do not need socks with these. Your feet stay plenty warm and cozy like a gentle hug. Unfortunately, I have to retire my pair but can't wait to get my new ones. I HIGHLY recommend this Old Friend Slipper to every woman.

I originally ordered 1 size larger according to advice: too big. [...]The correct size fit my feet, but the top of the slipper doesn't cover enough of the top of the foot, so they don't conform to the foot enough to give a snug fit. As a result they are loose when I walk around, even though the length is appropriate.

And it is disappointing that this is not addressed in the product description. I had to return (exchange would not work) and repurchase with a separate order to get a larger size. Website is relatively easy to order from, but returns / exchanges are (deliberately) difficult. Good quality slipper.
