About Acacia
The high oil content in acacia makes it naturally resistant to rotting, bug infestation, and weathering. If left untreated, acacia weathers naturally to a beautiful gray color. During the first stages of the weathering process, surface roughness or cracking may occur. However, this will subside and become smooth over time. Acacia's weather- and- rot-resistant qualities make it a great choice for outdoor furniture.

Oxford Garden's acacia furniture has been pre-treated with a penetrating oil stain that enhances the grain. The oil stain provides additional protection against the elements, as well as contains UV inhibitors and fungicide.

Care and Maintenance
A seasonal cleaning of acacia furniture is recommended. Rinse the furniture and use a sponge or soft bristle brush to scrub it with a mild cleaning solution. Lastly, rinse the piece with fresh water. To maintain the original finish, reapplication of a high-quality oil is recommended. Paint or any products with Polyurethane are not recommended, as application of these products will void the warranty.
