We've had these stools for about4 months now. They were easy to put together and looked great out of the box. After about a month, one of the buttons on one of the 4 stools popped off. This continued and now all stools are missing at least one of the buttons. They get caught on things and pull off very easily. Two days ago, my daughter was trying to scoot the stool in and had her foot on one of the cross bars on the bottom of the stool which promptly snapped in half. While these look good, I would have spent more on a higher quality stool given the choice again...

DO NOT BUY THESE! We purchased two of these a couple weeks before Thanksgiving for our new home.I got them because the fabric and style were similar to Parson's chairs we have in the kitchen. At Thanksgiving, when they were actually used - all but one of the button covers came off. When I tried to repair them the upholstery just came completely apart. Wish I had just purchased the wooden ones to start with.

One of the long streachers for each of the stool cracked as they were being screwed in. Predrilled holes were probably the cause.
Please replace 2 strechers or how would i proceed with return process for both of the stools.

Cross bars between legs are easily split by mounting screws due to wood quality. Power tools shouldn't be used for this operation. Stool is light in weight and omits strong petroleum smell from faux leather top. Good looking bar stools. Sitting on the stools is very comfortable.
