Our Parker House Ridgeline Expandable Space Saver unit is a grand unit that will complement any decor and transform your entertainment center into a beautiful display. With its rich design, it adds character and distinction to your home, and it's expandable to accommodate flat-panel televisions up to 56 inches wide in the closed position, and up to 65 inches wide in the expanded position. A three-way touch light in the center of the unit illuminates the top shelf and adds mood-inspiring accent lighting to your living room. Best of all, this gorgeous unit provides tons of storage for your components, DVDs, and more.
The top of the entertainment center features a long shelf, which holds lots of DVDs, CDs, books, or curios. On each side of the TV storage compartment a tall, narrow cabinet with adjustable shelves offers even more storage. The base of the unit has two cabinets in the center, each with a shelf and a wood-framed door with glass inserts. They're ideal for your gaming system, DVD player, VCR, and receiver. The sides of the base feature two more cabinets, each with a solid wood door, for concealed storage. And when the unit is expanded, the center of the base offers two shelves of open storage.
Constructed of poplar solids with maple veneers, this gorgeous space saver has a luscious Cherry finish that's an asset to any decor or color palette. Architectural details like crown molding and a beveled base give this entertainment center a rich beauty. It's accented with antiqued brass hardware. Some assembly required. I had been looking for an entertainment center for our living room for almost 5 years. They were either unattactive or really expensive. This one is beautiful and reasonably priced. We love it.
It was more than a two hour job to assemble, although that may be because my husband is so fastidious. We love the light above the top shelf and the expandability which allowed us to get our television in it perfectly.
It's nice to have the deep shelves for my DVDs and my CDs, but it would have been nice to have had more glass shelves behind the glass doors so that more DVDs could be fit in.
But I certainly wouln't trade it: it is beatufily and functional. I'm so glad I found it.
