Comments about Prevue Pet Products Pasadena Bird Cage:
I bought three cages at Pet Smart and they no longer carry this style and it fits exactly on countertop just clearing the bottom of cupboard space...small kitchen and no space so this is the perfect-sized cage. Two cages I've ordered online. It is a nice-looking cage and not junky--so many cages are flimsy or too many little corners or pagoda-type. First off, canaries don't like round, or pagoda-type cages and so this cage works good for canaries. The last cage I ordered though the big gateway door was on the inside of the cage. This is not a problem for me or my bird because as I mentioned in the other part of the review, I am not crazy about the metal flowers on each side of the cage. Canaries are inquisitive or they get bored and try to see what the flower is all about. Afraid he'd cut his foot or hurt himself somehow on the metal flowers. I got around that by putting a mineral block over one and a cuttlebone over the other one. My canary takes a bath in his water cup and doesn't come out of the cage except for toenail clips so I actually use the front of the cage as the back of the cage and have a half-cover over the back part ... that way the flowers are in the back as well. That is the only fault I really have with the cage was the metal flowers -- I'm thinking that a person who does not have a bird designed this cage or they would not have put that in. I also didn't use the cups as I thought the edge was a little sharp but I am a "helicopter" pet parent and always hovering and worrying. I just got my own white cups and swapped them - no big deal. The cups are also large - I was afraid my canary when he was a baby might fall in the cup and not be able to scramble back out - especially the water cup.

Comments about Prevue Pet Products Pasadena Bird Cage:
This cage is great for a spare portable cage for your lovebirds. Also great as a nighttime cage and travel cage. I have 4 lovebirds. Their day cage is bigger, but they love the security of this cage at night. They each have their own cage, and I group them so they can be close to one another.
