This item is a gift to replace a similar skillet that came as part of a set from Paula Deen. The quality is much better than the one in the set, heavier, more substantial overall. Cannot be put into dishwasher, however, as with all Paula Deen cookware. It is easy to wash clean, however. I wish a lid was offered with it, though, as it does not fit the set lid. Happy overall with purchase.
