The product I recieved was not new. The item was previously owned and asssembled. When I recieved the item, the directions for assembly were for another product, some of the hardware was missing, and the coded stickers had been removed, making assembly at least 200% longer than needed.

Service and delivery comments:

The delivery of theitem was timely, however when I expressed my dissatisfaction with the product, I did not recieve adequate customer service. I was offered to have another sent to my home, and free shipping for the faulty item, which for an 80 lbs. item Im sure is a substantial shipping price, even with a corporate discount. When I said I would rather a partial refund, I was offered ten percent off, which would come to about fourteen dollars. Obviously, with shipping costs the way they are, I found this insulting. I eventually recieved twenty five dollars off the item, but this also leave a bad taste in my mouth. I think an appropriate discount on a used item would be alot closer to forty percent off, especially for a customer who has purchased half a dozen things with you, with the intent of spending more. Unfortunately because of the way I was handled in this situation, I feel like my money would be better spent elsewhere. Im not a hard guy or anything, it just very upetting, that the most expensive item I purchased from your website, was faulty, I was man enough to suggest alternate means of solving the problem, rather than cost you more labor and shipping costs, and I was not taken care of in a manner that is satisfactory to an intelligent hard working individual such as myself.
