Ordered as a X-mas present for my husband as a reference for his latest geopolitical readings. Updated political borders are useful. In addition to function, it adds elegance to any room and the antique color scheme works well with any decor. Although we had to tack on a few felt pads on the bottom of the the wood base, we are very satisfied with the product. Plan on ordering a floor model globe later. . .
