Installation instructions were very clear and components clearly identified. All screws and pre-drilled holes actually matched up! Heavy enough dog house to withstand strong wind. Buy the large size - it isn't as big as you might think.

It's the perfect size for our Cairn Terror (oops...I mean Terrier) :) and she still has plenty of room. At first she was a little hesitant to go inside. We ended up having to coax her inside with her toys and treats. She is crate trained so we just tell her to get into her crate (the dog house) and she jumps in. Good dog! Last night we went to dinner and when we got home -- there she was -- sound asleep in her Cozy Cottage. :)
It was simple to put together, great instructions and the parts were easily identifiable.
Suggestion for the manufacturer - Precision Pet: You should use black staples instead of silver for the rooftop.
Now, all we have to do is figure out how to install lights, A/C and plumbing. Anything for our fur child. Ha! Ha!

We were preparing for our new dog, (German Shepard puppy) and read the reviews, knowing that it maybe a bit small and last about 1 year until he grew, and we thought the picture had to be 'real' in some way...NO WAY... the dog house was built for a tiny dog. VERY sad b/c it was the best dog house ever--very cute, strong and knoble looking! Read the inside dimensions very carefully, which I thought I did?

I recently adopted a Sheltie into my "pack" of 2 Pomeranians. The Sheltie loves to be outdoors but had no shelter and doesn't like to come in when it rains. This is the perfect solution and looks great in my garden and the bonus was that it was fun to put together! What a fabulous product, I plan on getting a smaller house for the Poms for indoors.
