This duplex dog house for multiple pets is a great design. The inside panel can be removed if your dogs want to be together but want lots of leg room. Or you can insert the panel and create two separate dog houses. The roof lid is hinged on the low side so that rain does not puddle. Each lid lifts up for ease of cleaning or checking on your pets. Right now the plastic strips covering the doors are still intact, but I don't expect them to last long as our two are puppies - and puppies chew absolutely EVERYTHING. I really like the idea that the dog house sits above ground level as we get lots of rain in our neck of the woods. This dog house is an excellent purchase for the price.

I was excited about this dog house for our two large dogs. Very disappointed when several of the dark pieces of wood arrived split, chipped or broken with no way to repair them. The only good thing about this dog house is that it was easy to put together. After it was built, we lifted the dog house to turn it to face a different direction and it almost broke in half. Extremely flimsy. We then tried lifting one side and spinning it and the leg broke completely off. What could have been a very cute house for our dogs is probably only going to last through a season.
It's very, very cheap in quality. I absolutely would NOT recommend this product. Total waste of money.

Overall I was happy with the dog house. There was some damage to it, not sure if it was shipped that way or if it happened in shipping, but 2 of the leg's were broke off, had to fix that as good as possible. And had to put new hinges on the roof, the one's that were on there was way to small for the job and the screws were striped holding it on. And I paid extra shipping to get it by a certain day, and it actually came a day later? Overall I think it is a good product, very easy to put together and it does looks nice, but not sure it is really worth the $$$$$ that it costs?

The duplex dog house was very easy to put together. Came with easy to understand instructions. ON the flip side, it is very flimsy. The wood is very thin. The dog house last 1 full day before my dogs tore it to shreds. It is now a dog house with a patio. Not for rough energetic dogs or dogs that chew things. more for an older more melo type of dog

We LOVE the duplex doggie retreat. It is plenty big for our two Catahoulas (75 & 62 pounds). It is well constructed (I actually crawled inside :) and the hinged lid will make it easy to clean and maintain. Would highly recommend!
