We bought this item for our two and a half year old daughter and had it shipped to my parent's house in MA then checked this box on our plane home to St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands.The box took some abuse, but everything was in perfect order due to the excellent packing job done by the manufacturer.The quality of the bed for the price was very high and it was easy to assemble. My wife and I put it together in about one hour and fifteen minutes and our daughter was thrilled with her princess bed.I would recommend this item to anyone looking for a step from a crib and for little girls who love the Disney princesses.Scott & Sarah Schaier

An ease to setup, some sub-par parts
When the bed arrived one of the glued-on crown "moldings" had fallen off. Not broken, can be glued back on.
Assembly was a snap, good documents and labeled parts.

Found the crowns at the top of the posts tended to break when put on.
The bed is solid, withstanding a jumping toddler.
The structure its self seems very sturdy, just some better quality minor items and this would be good if not perfect.

I was surprised at the quality of this bed. It arrived on time and the assembly was fairly quick (under an hour start to finish) and easy to put together. The bed sits low to the ground and is very sturdy so it's a very safe and durable place for any little princess to sleep. I wish I'd have had a bed like this as a little girl! The only small negative was that the crowns on top looked different in my kit. More of a fully rounded queen's crown than a princess tiara, but my daughter could care a less about that.
