Weather can affect the durability of any product. We recommend the following:
Steel & Wood Products: Store in a protected area away from humidity, rain, and snow. If the product gets wet, make sure to dry thoroughly. For winter storage, coat the wood & metal parts with a liquid car wax to prevent moisture from damaging the parts.
The following are some cleaning suggestions. Please note, Radio Flyer does not recommend one cleaning product over another.
Steel Products: Clean with hot water and a mild detergent using a soft cloth. Rinse with clean water and dry thoroughly. To protect the finish, we recommend that you apply a liquid car wax and buff it out once product is dried.

This is a great wagon. The best part about it is the high sides and the big all terrain tires. We take it on walks and it rolls great. It works so much better than the plastic wagons; it is worth the price if you plan to use it a lot! Only downside is there are no buckles for your kids. So you must be careful and make sure your child doesn't stand.

I received this little red wagon as a gift from my husband for our 55 wedding anniversary to use for hauling items while I do my gardening and various outdoor activities. I think it will work well for me, but I was disappointed that the wheels were plastic. We had looked at a Radio Flyer at a local store that had the steel wheels,but had the thin solid tires; we were afraid it would tilt. I found this one on your site; have ordered from you before and have liked everything and am sure this will be satisfactory.
