I have searched high and low for a good quality Adirondack chair--wood, not plastic. These chairs are reasonably priced [...] and took about an hour to assemble (I bought two). I love the bright, cherry red color and the curved detail at the front of the seat. The chairs seem solid and substantial. We'll see how they hold up after a summer of use.

It's a good looking chair, however, it isn't made well, so tough to assemble. Right now, I can't complete the chair because a critical hole is misaligned. Whoever/whatever drilled the hole placed it too far in, so the back can't be anchored. I'll have to have someone create a new hole, insert a new screw anchor, buy a new screw and anchor. Pain in the butt. Instructions are also not accurate, so in the end, it tok me over an hour to assemble one chair. It took me that long to assemble an entire IKEA bed and it's not missing any hardware etc. I wouldn't buy this again. I would go to my local store and buy a ready made chair or one that I could easily return. Very frustrating for me. If you have someone in your household that builds things, then you can fix any inaccuracies in the design. Although why would you, if you paid for a chair that should assemble?

These chairs were very attractive looking and I purchased 2 of them to complement the two coastal adirondack chairs that I purchased last month. I had no problem assembling the coastal chairs. These were a real pain. The bolt holes in the arms were mis- aligned and I chould not get them to line up. After an hour, I called Hayneedle and returned them for 2 more coastal chairs. It was a dissappointment by Hayneedle was very accomodating and the return went smoothly

First one that was delivered was had two left arms and couldn't be assembled. We send it back, and the replacement arrived quickly. No problem with the new one. Beautiful bright, cherry red color. it's a great, comfortable chair. Very glad we got it...it was worth the wait.

we ordered two chairs. We were able to assemble one, no problem - and it looks great! However, the second chair did not contain the correct pieces for assembly. We had to ship it back for a replacement, and now it's going be several more weeks before our matching chair arrives. Bummer.
Stuff happens and people aren't perfect - hopefully this was a fluke. On the brightside, the one chair we have is fantastic.
