Description
The Riverside Urban Crossings L-Shaped Desk With Hutch in espresso brings sophisticated style, elegance, and functional storage to your home office. Constructed of hardwood solids and veneers, this gorgeous desk and hutch have an espresso finish with no distressing that will add richness to your home. The back panels of the desk are also finished, so it looks beautiful from every angle.
This stunning desk features a pullout writing tray and keyboard tray. You'll have plenty of storage space with two accessory drawers, two storage drawers, a locking file drawer, and two modular storage boxes with card file drawers.
The Urban Crossings L-Shaped Desk fits both horizontal and tower CPUs. It has a six-outlet power bar located behind the left-hand cabinet door, so you can plug in all your computer peripherals.
The hutch features two glass-panel cabinet doors, each with an adjustable shelf behind it. Two letter-size drawers and two small accessory drawers offer extra storage, and a center open display shelf is perfect for showing off awards or favorite items. Five pigeonhole slots allow you to keep mail organized, and a wire access hole in the back of the hutch enables easy wire management. Fully assembled. Monitor storage area is 31W x 22.5H inches. It is recommended that Riverside furniture be cleaned with a damp, clean dust cloth. Any kind of surface or finish may be cleaned using this method. A mild detergent may be applied, if necessary, for areas that will not clean with just a cloth. Avoid the use of oil-based polishes and direct-spray polishes (cause a waxy build-up).
Placing hot items, such as coffee mugs or dinner plates on a piece of furniture can soften the finish. Condensation from cold objects or liquid spills will cause the finish to "bubble" and leave a milky-white discoloration. Never use fingernail polish remover over a wood finish because if it makes contact with the finish it will eat through it much like a paint or varnish remover exposing the wood underneath and demanding that the surface be refinished to repair the damage. The damage described above can be eliminated by the use of coasters, trivets, and common sense.
Always use a protective pad beneath lamps or accessories, and on writing surfaces. Do not place rubber or vinyl products on the surface as discoloration and/or staining may occur as a result.

We bought this desk for a home office but it is nice enough for office furniture. It is solid and constructed beautifully. It is also very sturdy. It is worth paying more to get a quality product. The previous reviewer must have ordered something else because this entire desk is solid wood. There were no defects, marks, or scratches on it. The delivery and set up was smooth too.

Don't waste your money on this press board laminate junk you could find better furniture elsewhere then pay [$]on this junk, Latches are junk, knobs are pulling threw the wood fibers, screws pulling out, Will fall apart on you, I've only had this desk for 6 months and its falling apart. Buyer Beware.

[...] Since the product could not be placed in my office until I removed the old desk set, [...] place it in my garage. This is where my only warning is - this desk set is pretty much assembled and thus is VERY heavy, a tribute to the quality of the materials used for construction. The weight however, made it rather difficult for two people to move and a third person was needed to safely maneuver the desk into the office without damage or injury. Once inside, and completely unpackaged, the finish is exceptional. The felt lined drawers are a nice, unexpected touch. The solid feel to the components had me wondering how I worked on a desk made of particle board for all of these years. I am well pleased with my purchase and would recommend this desk set to anyone.
