Gorgeous vanity,was nicer quality than I was expecting. Several previous reviewers had cited thin side panels but mine was very sturdy all the way around. The vanity was actually too tall for the small 1950's bath I was remodeling so I just purchased some new shorter legs from [...]and stained them to match.

I love this little vanity. It works beautifully in the tiny master bath of our mid-century home. Combined with a natural stone tile floor and brushed nickel fixtures, the piece adds a perfect blend of traditional and contemporary styling. The porcelain top has graceful lines that give a hint of more elegant times. The legs are made of sturdy turned wood. The solid wood portions of the vanity have a natural looking finish that make it look like it could be an antique, but in perfect condition. The only thing I found disappointing were thin side panels of the base. Like pretty much any piece of affordable furniture these days, pressed board is utilized. But this has not dampened my enthusiasm for this product. I never thought I would find such a small piece with so much style and just enough quality for my impossibly small bathroom.

This is a beautiful vanity. The dark color is great, but is not black as described in the name of the item. It is a rich, dark brown. If that color will not fit into your overall design, keep shopping. The white top is stylish and contemporary without being overly faddish. The vanity is very sturdy and was packed with care.
