Love the rug, but it is more of a decorator piece. Loseness of the weave allows strips to come out rather easily if there is heavy foot traffic on it. There is a need to keep small children off of it as they can very easily pull strips out. Caution when having beverages like coffee, wine and grape juice, the leather is absorbent and will stain. Also not meant for vacuuming.Would buy again, but limit the use.
