Comments about Safety 1st® Lift Lock and Swing Gate:

I have 2 of these gates. One at top & bottom of stairs to allow my 3 year old to move freely & my 10 month old not to have an accident on the stairs. This gate is not that hard to install & allows you to use it as pressure or hardware mounted. If you choose to use hardware you can slide gate out of hinges & put it somewhere else. The only thing is when assembling the gate make sure to tighten the screws only enough to where the buttons don't fall off this way it'll be easier to measure the area then tighten screws. If you have 2 people assembling don't put buttons on until you've measured area that way one can hold while the other tightens. Same philosophy applies when installing hardware. Only drawback is once the screws are tightened to adust the gate you have to unscrew then tighten then again. Not a big deal once you get the hang of it. I would definitely recommend.
