The leather desk pad is handsomely crafted and serves the purpose intended on our desk. However, the color of the picture on-line looked brown and the color was "mocha," which is the color we needed to match our desk and paneling. The side panels, the most visible part, are not brown at all but cherry which doesn't fit our decor at all. I would recommend more accurate color photography.
