Once I figured out on my own how to put this bookcase together, it turned out to be very attractive. Its 24 1/2" width was perfect for the space I had. I had 49" of space, and two of them fit perfectly.
I don't know who wrote the assembly instructions, but he/she is a moron, that's for sure. No one bothered to state which pieces were the "top/bottoms," and only by the chance of noticing the almost-unnoticeable pre-drilled holes was I able to figure it out. Sauder makes good stuff, but the company needs to fire that instruction writer and turn him over to me.
