I purchased two of these bookshelves for my children's room. The bookshelves arrived quickly and in great condition. I only have a few complaints. the pieces did not have labeling stickers on them, so it took extra time and careful reading of the instructions to determine where each piece belonged. I thought the instructions were pretty easy to understand and was the saving grace of the assembly part. My only other complaint was on how the top part of the bookcases was attached to the bottom half. The bookcases only required two interlocking "hidden cams" and "cam dowells" in the front part to keep the top and bottom together, so it was very difficult to move the bookcases after they were assembled. If the top part was tilted too far forward, it would probably fall apart. I'm sure this would have been an easy remedy for the manufacturer if they would just use four hidden cams and cam dowells to increase the shelves sturdiness. Other than these two factors, for the price I paid, I am very happy with the product.

The product description doesn't mention that this bookcase comes in two sections. I haven't loaded it yet, but I'm hoping the upper and lower parts hold together.
The sides and the shelves look good. The back section is very thin and is too flexible.
I don't think I'll be putting too much on this bookcase. I have two stronger ones I just got from Staples, but I didn't get a third because the available wall was too short.
I had someone put it together, and it took much longer than I expected.

This item had terrible instructions and we are missing one of the shelf pins so I cant use all the shelves until we get another. Could have really benefitted from one more shelf because middle shelf is fixed so you can not make the shelves symetrical.
