Really easy to assemble. I bought the full size version. I had a wood trundle from a previous bed that fit nicely under this bed since it had lots of clearance. It doesn't look like high end furniture, but it is attractive, and it seems like it will hold together pretty well. I do agree that it would have been nice if the hardware wasn't visible.

Sadly I'm left feeling disappointed in my decision to purchase this bed. We bought it for my daughters room and also bought the trundle. Her former toddler bed that only cost us $100 was better looking than this bed is. Between the visible screws on the sides and the visible slats at the head and foot, the bed is left looking cheap. For what we paid I was expecting more.
