The Schwinn Airdyne Evolution Comp Upright Exercise Bike represents the next generation of home fitness equipment. It features resistance-based braking to reduce the friction that leads to bike wear, meaning it will require much less maintenance than traditional exercise bikes. The sealed cartridge bearings also provide a smoother, more comfortable ride that is reliable year after year. Another advantage of the unique air resistance system is that it offers as much resistance as you can handle by synchronizing your arm and leg movements to simulate your natural motion. Plus, the air resistance system creates streams of cooling air while you pedal, making for a comfortable home workout. It doesn't get much more convenient than that.
As far as technology features go, the Airdyne Evolution Comp covers it all. It includes a comprehensive computer console that provides feedback on time, distance, workload level, calories burned, calories per hour, heart rate, and RPM. As a result, it's easy to keep track of your overall fitness level. Other features include an extra-quiet chain drive system; an LCD display; an anatomically correct seat with extra padding; and a capacity of 300 pounds. Dimensions: 50L x 22.5W x 48H inches.

As a retired hardware store manager, I had no problems assembling the equipment. However for ssomeone with no experience a pictorial parts list would be of great help.

I'm thrilled to have a convenient in-home workout and I'm happy that this bike provides a different workout than I get at the gym. It's solid and quiet (given that you're running a fan). It shouldn't have taken me 3 hours to assemble - although the assembly instructions are good, parts are not labeled (really? so simple!) and the parts list is not illustrated. Unless you already know the difference between carriage bolts, hex bolts, allen bolts, shoulder bolts and several others, make sure you have a hardware resource handy! Thanks, Dad.
