Comments about Schwinn Airdyne IC2 Indoor Cycle Trainer:
I bought this to replace a 20 year old Air-Dyne that I finally wore out, and it works perfectly for me.
I like: Excellent build quality, not flimsy. All of the load bearing components of the bike are solid and welded very well. Pedal radius like a bicycle so it's easy to get into the workout. Smooth, quiet action. Fine degree of control over the tension, so it's easy to dial up just as much resistance as you need. This bike doesn't 'coast' (i.e. you can't just stop pedaling, you have to bring the flywheel to a stop if you don't want to bang up your calves when dismounting), which means you can also pedal it backwards. Great, solid handlebar system that's very comfortable.
I don't care about, but you might: This bike is nothing fancy, but I didn't want fancy. The digital readout is just a simple readout of time, miles, rpm, distance and calories, nothing more. You can't program it to do anything, nor does it remember anything once it goes off. Though the bike arrived without damage to the packaging, there were a couple scrapes on the frame that I'm pretty sure occurred when it was packaged. Not easy for one person to assemble (heavy), but it does go together in about 30 minutes if you have some help.
I've had the bike for about a month now, and I'm nothing but pleased.

Comments about Schwinn Airdyne IC2 Indoor Cycle Trainer:
Schwinn Airdyne was shipped promply however it was missing the handle bar post so the bike can't be used. I called Hayneedle and was directed to call Nautilaus but they are not open until Monday. Hopefully they will get the part out promply.

Service and delivery comments:
the delivery was very prompt, however, I have had numerous bad experiences with UPS. Please choose a different shipper, as they do not take care of your customers' packages. My product had deep dents in the fork, split paint, and chipped paint, which now has forever decreased the financial and aesthetic value of the bike. Luckily, Customer Service offered me some options, and I am still happy with the purchase.
