The coat rack was very easy to put together, and is very strong. We have two children, and we pile on hats, coats, snow-pants, scarves, purses, and umbrellas -- it has never fallen over. My only complaint is that the caps on the end of the scrolls and on the very top of the coat rack are made of plastic. In my opinion it cheapens the look a little bit, and sometimes the caps make it hard for my children to hang their jackets because their stuff slides off...although it could be because they are little 5 and 3 so they aren't really tall or good at putting things away. Over all, it is a beautiful/sturdy coat rack and you can't beat the price!

Nice weight and attractive. The one concern we have is that the screws are very short and I am concerned that they are going to wear quickly. I will let you know how it holds up in a month. Good looking piece.

Very happy with this coat rack. Good cost, good balance, lots of room for all kinds of coats, scarves and hats.
Only problems: can't handle very heavy items and metal surface scratches during assembly.
But for the cost it's a great deal

We love the look of this umbrella/coat rack with the elegant scroll work. It looks perfect right near our front door and will be just right when friends come over to hang their coats on since we have a very small coat closet. Was easy to assemble with good instructions.

I love our new coat rack...it is pretty and functional! Unfortunately, it is always covered in a million and one coats so we don't get to see how beautiful it is. Guess we'll have to wait till spring for that. I can't believe how many heavy coats it holds without tipping or jiggling. Very easy to put together (my 15 yr old son did it!) and nice and sturdy. Everything anyone would ever want from a coat rack!
