This chair is sturdy, which is the best thing I can say about it. It is functional for daytime usage at my computer, but if I want to relax or spend any amount of time on the computer, it becomes too uncomfortable. If the back adjusted, it would be a MUCH better chair. The back comes in so much I feel like I have to stay on the front edge of the seat, and when I try to sit back, the wheels of the chair come off the floor. Every time I get up from the chair, the seat thumps, and when I try to lift it to move it, the seat comes apart from the base. I kept my old computer chair, which is somewhat broken down, but it is more comfortable and functional. So for short tasks I'll use this one, but if I have a long task (more than 20-30 mins) I'll use my old chair. This was a disappointment.
