Description
The Seiko Chiming Mantel Clock is housed in a handsome brown wooden case, and the white dial and black tone Arabic numerals are covered in a glass crystal cover. This mantel clock features a Westminster Whittington quarter-hour chime and hourly strikes. There is a volume control option, as well as a nighttime chime silencer. This clock has quartz movement and runs on one AA battery, which is included.

Packaged very well, is a Solid, well made clock, with easy instructions, and battery included. The volume control makes it
usable in any room, two choices of chimes staged so they chime differently for each quarter hour,and sound out the hours, without sounding "tinny" Very nice

The finish on the clock is not of the quality shown in the picture. The wood grain is not of the quality shown and the finish is slightly rough and uneven.The good points: [...]the chimes can be volume controled as well as minimized or shut off entirely. It is just ok for the price, but don't expect craftmanship of the woodwork to be like your grandmothers clock eventhough that is what is pictured.
