Very easy to assemble. I'd recommend assembling it hand tight and gently sitting on it to allign the chair, and then use the wrench to lock it down. I had to loosen two of the four chairs & perform this to remove a "wobble."
Very simple, sturdy, and lightweight design. Looks like a cast aluminum frame.
While it's not a thick, soft cushion, the ergonomics are good. I noticed no discomfort after about 30 minutes.

I purchased 8 white leather Shen chairs. They are even more gorgeous in real life. They're easy to assemble and fit together well. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the leather is not supple and feels a bit cheap, but I can't really complain considering how inexpensive they are. Glad I bought them and am now considering purchasing the counter height chairs. Love these and highly recommend them.
