Description
Go on and hit the antique store jewelry grab bags. You'll have ample room to store your treasures in the Seville Antique Walnut Jewelry Armoire. This armoire has lots of open and divided storage, perfect for storing your tiniest stud earrings to your generous bottle of Chanel No. 5. The top storage section has a tilt-out mirror - so you can make sure your accessories look marvelous - and a removable tray, convenient for rings, bracelets, and other small items.
What appear to be drawers down the front is actually a locking door with key (and tassel!) that opens to reveal more drawers and storage space. Above the first drawer, you'll find a handy storage compartment with earring holders, which we love, as we all know it's hard to keep your earrings in place and organized. Below that, the first drawer has ring rolls, and the drawers below feature open and divided storage. The open space beneath the fifth drawer is just the spot to stash the items you use often, such as lotion and perfume. Top and side doors do not lock.
A door on each side of the armoire opens, and each displays 20 necklace hooks for a total of 40 hooks, so don't hold back on the necklaces. A girl's best friend, the Seville is constructed of solid wood veneers and MDF wood, a dense type of engineered wood that resists warping. Inside, anti-tarnish lining protects your jewels; outside, it's finished in gorgeous walnut with lovely antique gold knobs. Overall dimensions: 21.5W x 14.5D x 45H inches.

I have owned the same armoire for the last 15 years, and it was getting rather cluttered as of late. However, with purchase of my first new bedroom set, I wanted to get something that "matched", and was hoping to upsize to something that would keep things neater and more visible. Also, my middle child is facinated with my jewelry collection, and was constantly pulling things out. This is definitely a larger armoire, and I LOVE the fact that it locks. I had a few concerns when looking over my storage options when it arrived, but think that, for the most part, it will work.MIRROR/REMOVEABLE TRAY: What they don't mention - there is about a 1/2" or so of storage space UNDER the removeable tray. This works well for my neckvines and many of my pendants. The space inside the tray is nice, and it is rather deep. Deeper than all but one of the divided jewelry drawers.EARRING SCREENS: I LOVE these!! They display my earrings MUCH better. Here they can hang freely, be easily kept in pairs, and not become tangled together. The screens do accept all of my hook earrings, but not lever backs or similar types. I still must work out where I will keep these :)5 JEWELRY DRAWERS: These drawers are MUCH shallower than my old armoire, and the dividers go to the top of the drawer. Even on the deepest of the 5. With only one open, shallow drawer, I thought I would run into MAJOR problems fitting all my pendants and odd shaped items. Finding the storage space on top really helped, as did figuring out many of my pendants could fit in the ring drawer (all of my rings fit in the removeable tray) . I still wish there was another drawer, either divided into squares or long strips. I also wish the drawers had stoppers. Since they are so short, I am constantly pulling them out too far.OPEN SHELF/LARGE DRAWER: I do like the open area as I have a charm bracelet in it's own case, and a couple other boxes that can sit there. It comes in handy. I miss having three large drawers for lingerie, but I'm adjusting. SIDE DOORS: I REALLY wished these locked too!! It would help with little fingers. Or, if the magnets were stronger. They open a bit too easy for my taste. I also wish that the hooks were double instead of single. They do seem sturdy and hold my necklaces quite nicely.I am still organizing it, but plan to upload pictures.Overall, I am pleased with my purchase. The ordering process was easy. The armoire came within 4 business days of ordering. I stayed home the whole day to await the Fedex delivery. They delivered it without making a sound probably since they realized I would not accept delivery due to the condition of the package. The outside box was broken in numerous places. The box was so flimsy that it was hard to bring it in the door due to the weight (96 lbs) & the box would just fall apart. When I unpacked it, the thick styrofoam was completely broken as well. The top part of the armoire where the mirror & 2 shelves are, had come unglued & a piece of the manufactured wood board had broken off. Amazingly there was not a scratch or mark on the outside of the armoire. I tried to glue the top back on, is was originally glued on not screwed on. It was a birthday present for my wife. Customer service was great. I could pack it up & return it no questions asked for a full refund. They sent a Fedex slip to place on the box & all I would have to do is call Fedex to pick it up.
I have decided for the moment to keep it & customer service said I have 30 days to return it for a refund. My wife loves it. I hope it stays together.
I fault whoever packed it. The armoire is beautiful. The packing was awful. I'm afraid id I order a replacement, the result would be the same. Hayneedle staff was wonderful.

I absolutely love this armoire! The earring holders are excellent! I was worried the drawers wouldn't be deep enough, but they worked out perfectly. Plenty of room! Wish the necklace hooks were double hooks, but still plenty of room.
My only disappointment is that one drawer sticks. Hayneedle couldn't just replace one drawer; they would have had to send a whole new armoire. Way too much for me to handle, so I'll have the drawer sanded a bit so it slides better.
I looked at a ton of armoires before deciding on this one. I'm very happy.

This is a beautiful piece of furniture but Hayneedle is not able to deliver it without it being damaged in shipping. For such a heavy piece, it was very poorly packaged. I ordered twice and both arrived damaged. I kept the second one and tried to repair it so I could use it.
