I love this hammock. My only surprise was that the rope holding it all together was not the best quality. The rope seems to be made of cotton, not a long-lasting nylon material. Thus, I'm not sure just how long this will last before the rope gives away. The fabric of the hammock itself is excellent - very comfortable to lay on and seems durable. I don't recommend leaving it out in the weather year round. I bring mine inside after each use - which is a bit of a pain, but the comfort during use is worth it. As my hammock has only been used a couple of times, I'm not sure of the durability? I hope it lasts a long time, with proper care. A good purchase.

I didn't purchase a cheap hammock to avoid these issues. This was my first purchase from a hayneedle company and will probably be my last!

I was hesitant to order when I read some of the reviews complaining about the rope looking frayed and cheap. I did not find that to be the case at all and am very happy with the looks and comfort. The color is traditional and timeless.
