Comments about SMI Oak Flat File:
The oak flat files are very attractive. Being shipped in three large boxes allowed for easy assembly. Although the boxes were heavy, I was still able to manipulate the boxes by myself once I removed the shelves to assemble the outer two boxes onto the base and then placed the top piece. The unit is well constructed and very sturdy. I ordered an eight drawer that allows me to protect artwork and large drawing papers. The packaging protected the files and was easy to remove with a utility knife. Overall, I am very pleased with the quality of this piece which goes very well with other oak furniture I have in the room.
