Computer Desk with Optional Hutch, File Cabinet, and Bookcase offers generous work space, ample drawer storage, and plenty of shelving for supplies and decorative accents.
Crafted for lasting beauty, the L-shaped desk has a durable wood construction and a scratch-resistant laminate surface. The file drawer holds letter and legal-size files, a dedicated vertical CPU storage compartment with rear wire access keeps your tower neatly concealed, and an accessory drawer holds office supplies within reach. The pull-out keyboard tray and drawer pedestals can be mounted on the left or right side for configuration flexibility.
The optional hutch offers various shelves for binders and books, as well as two cabinets with frosted glass doors. The optional lateral filing cabinet has two interlocking drawers that reduce the likelihood of the cabinet tipping. They can hold letter-, legal-, and A4-size files. Full-extension, ball-bearing side glides ensure smooth and reliable drawer operation. The optional bookcase features five spacious shelves (three adjustable). Metallic legs accent the maple finish and add modern flair to the durable wood laminate construction.

Took approximately 6 hours to assemble with thehutch being easier than the desk unit. Hutch can be placed either on the CPU or drawer side with the both the CPU and drawer being set up for L/R configuration. The CPU area does hold a standard size but longer CPUs(see Asus) will not allow the door to close. Sort of narrow area for computer wiring.
Assembly can be done by one person. If you own a drill and can follow the provided instructions not a problem. What is a problem is not all parts are clearly identified(ie: screw bags aren't labeled and approx 1/2 of the components were not labeled(ie:A,B,C, etc).
If you order the hutch, it may be a two person job to move the desk/hutch combo as it weighs over 300#.
All in all, a great L desk with plenty of desk space for books, journals etc.
Definately check ecoupons sites as 15% off coupons can be found.

The desk & hutch are very nice & good quality. Unless you have some experience at putting furniture together, this was not easy to do as a novice. The two base cabinets are the most difficult. The other thing that made it difficult to put together is that the booklet tells which parts...screw, fasteners, etc. to use but they are not labeled in the plastic bags they come in. You have to figure that out by matching the parts to the pictures in the front of the book where they are actual size (they are not actual size on the page of instructions). I put the hutch together yesterday and will need help from someone more experienced to put the doors on...I can't figure out the pictures!

This is a beautiful piece of furniture. It looks just as good as it does in the picture. Ordered it on a Sunday and was delivered on Thursday. Wow! Definitely recommend help when assembling it though, or it will take MUCH longer.

I chose the desk based on the design and color. I was not disappointed. It has a very clean look. I gave it four stars because the legs on the bottom were plastic but other than that it is very nice for it's size and cost. I noticed in many of the other reviews it recommended having two people to put this together. I agree. It took us almost four hours, it was not difficult, just took time.
