I bought two of these file cabinets and stacked them to save floor space. The hardware(screws and such) would have been better if the packages were labeled but the pictures on each page were sufficient to use the correct hardware on each step.
Overall I like these and would recommend them to anyone who needs file cabinet spaces

I am an architect with a home office. I like the clean design and color of the wood. The drawers operate smoothly. I'm pretty handy with a hammer and screw gun but it took me 2 hours to put the first one together and it's not perfect. The instructions are marginal at best. I had a hard time figuring out what screws to use where and it shows. Also from the picture I thought the legs are metal but they are plastic and don't exactly match the handles. Not sure I would buy this cabinet again but it does serve its purpose for now.

I expected a hiher quality of product for the amount of money I paid. The finished was very artificial looking and the legs were plastic, yes plastic! It you were to nick or scratch the finish you wouldd see the particle board underneath. Like other reviewers, this cabinet was difficult to put together. It requires over 30 screws to assemble ad has flimsy plastic parts at key structural points. The draw constuction was poor too. It took little effort to bend a near break the contruction. The door faces do not line up, even after trying to adjusted per the instructions several times. I had to drill another hole myself to get the cadinet assembled correctly. I was planning on buy the entire matching computer table set, but I will look elsewhere.

I purchased the entire set: desk, return, shelves and this file cabinet. The file cabinet took more time to assemble than all the rest put together. Had to adjust the runners for the drawers, then again, then again, then again. They worked correctly for 1 day. I just live with it. It's too bad because the rest of the set is great. I definitely would not purchase this again. It's very expensive for what you get.

I am using this file cabinet in a very small office. I also bought the matching desk and they look great together. The cabinet is exactly what I expected. Not too big and not too small. The drawers open and close smoothly and it does not seem to be top heavy.

No written assembly directions, pictorial only. Screws and other hardware aren't separated and are difficult to identify. Some directions are easy to misinterpret and resulted in my having to take apart and reassemble the unit to get the drawers to come close to proper alignment. And finally, several screws were just a tiny bit too long and started to come thru the side wall.
