This portable, adjustable height basketball system offers the maximum in versatility, It includes a 44-inch wide polycarbonate backboard, which is clear like glass without the added expense; solid steel Slam Jam breakaway rim to withstand aggressive play; 3-piece metal pole and portable base; a height adjustment system; and an all-weather nylon net.
The goal height can be easily adjusted from 7.5 to 10 feet to accommodate players of all ages and skill levels. And if you ever decide you want to reposition your basketball hoop entirely, no problem there either. Simply empty the base of its sand or water ballast and use the casters to wheel your hoop to its new spot- including indoors for safe off-season storage.

It took my wife and I SEVERAL HOURS to put this together because the instruction manual was terribly written. In fact, there are a couple of rubber tubes that appear larger in the manual than the they are in real life. Not to scale. Other than that, very nice when it's finally complete.

Bought this for a 9yr. old and 13yr. old, plus various friends. Backboard is strong and the base is solid. It is easily adjustable. Set-up was very difficult due to inaccurate instructions. Also, the cap to the base didn't fit properly.
