The clean lines and simple geometric shapes of the ladder, top-bunk guard rails, and low headers and footers together give this roomy bunk bed a vibe that's both a little vintage and a little modern. It's a bed for the stylish kids room, to be sure, but don't worry - with two full-size bunks, it's for the practical, comfortable kids room, too.
This full bunk bed, a Hayneedle exclusive you won't find anywhere else, is crafted with super-durable metal finished in a contemporary silver shade. An included ladder attaches to the top bunk, which is outfitted with slatted guard rails to keep children safe while sleeping or lounging. Low headers and footers cap each end of the bed.

missing rail

i purchased two of these bunkbeds and one was missing the short guard rail to the top bed that keeps your child from falling onto the floor during the night. I contacted Hayneedle as instructed on the Assembly Instructions about the missing part. I was told by Samantha on Monday, Nov. 26, that there was no replacement part for this guard rail and that she could refund me $48 and hopefully I would be able to find something that could be used in it's place. I told her that was NOT acceptable and that there are replacement parts for most everything. I told her that Hayneedle should either send me the part H (guard rail) or send me a new bed as the bed as it is without the rail is absolutely useless. She told me that she would contact the manufacturer and call me back Thursday or Friday and let me know what she found out. Of course I never heard from her. I need someone at Hayneedle to step up to the plate and get this corrected asap.

The size on these beds is great. Two full beds. I only wish the ladder was interchangeable with the different ends of the bed. A few sharp spots on the welds (we just filed them down). Plenty of room below to store file size boxes.

Loved the look of the bed in pictures but was somewhat concerned with delivery and receiving all the pieces needed undamaged. I only had curb service, which the delivery guy brought to my front door thankfully he also said the box looked great compared to some of them.
Unpacked and took about 30 min to layout all parts to make sure nothing was missing and to read all of the instructions. From that point took about 1 1/2 hours to put it all together with one person helping (a must). Instructions were clear and straightforward. Make sure you do not tighten up the bolts until each section is done. The rails can be a little harder to line up the bolts from the bottom but still not too difficult.
Very happy with purchase as this bed should last our family a long time. Bottom is good for adults when family visits.

Bed was as described. Seems very sturdy. We do not yet have mattresses, so we can't yet comment on sleeping. Easy for two to put together. We will follow up after mattresses arrive. We wish the ladder had the option of repositioning to right side.
