Comments about Steve Silver Hamilton Sofa Table:
I received the box. The pieces seemed heavy and solid. My initial feeling was positive. I put the legs and table together and they seemed a good quality. Then I got the drawer. Why they cheaped out on this makes no sense, much like a GM car, great engine with a body that fell apart when driving off the lot. The drawer was all cheap compress wood. When assembling the drill holes were off centered and needed to be redrilled. The front of the drawer split when the screws were tightened. Both sides in exactly the same way. The handle was so cheap that remnants of the mold were still attached. I had to shave them down so no one would cut their hand. You'd think I would send it back, but it's for show not use and the thought of taking it apart and redoing it doesn't seem worth it.
