I purchased 3 of these attractive bar stools for our kitchen bar counter. The directions were easy to follow (visual), but it did take a fair amount of time to assemble. The workmanship varied between pieces. Some predrilled holes weren't exactly precise and one chair ended up with a rocking motion due to the legs not being exactly level. The Oak colored stain on one of the chairs is shoddy and sloppy. Overall I gave this produce an average rating. They are attractive, but the more you order, the more inconsistencies you'll notice. They are not "high-end" pieces, but overall ok. Made in Malaysia.

After living in our house for seven years we finally decided to fix up the bar, this of course meant adding some stools. My wife searched the usual sites and by accident came across these. The price was right, shipping was included and they seem to fit our needs. They arrived by Fedex on schedule. They were well packed and survived their trip from China in good condition. On inspection the quality and workmanship looked good and so did the finish. Assembly took about 30 minutes for the first one and 20 for each of the other three. The trickiest and most time consuming was attaching the back to the seat, alignment is by feel only because you can't see the holes, just be sure that you can turn the screw by hand until it's well in or you might have it cross threaded. Although the seat size is accurately stated pay attention to this because it is smaller than other stools that we have. Overall we are satisfied with the stools and with the service from barstools.com.

I purchased these stools in the lighter Oak color and am very pleased with them. They are heavy duty, well constructed, comfortable, the color is right, they were easy to assemble and the delivery was fast. This is my first purchase from Hayneedle.com, but I am sure it won't be my last one. Very pleased!

I purchased this Boraam Sumatra Bar Stool to use with a Boraam Pub Table which is 42 inches high.
This bar stool is well built and looks fantastic. The chair swivels 360 degrees which is a nice touch.
Took about 45 minutes to assemble. It's just screws and washers, no drilling required.
Overall a great piece of furniture at a good price.

very nice stools. would have given them a 5-star rating but one was damaged during shipping. however, hayneedle was excellent in issuing a credit.
