I use this to store miscellaneous patio accessories such as a spare propane tank, covers for the grill and patio furniture over the summer, dog toys, etc.
It is a lot bigger than I expected and I have not begun to fill it up.
I previously had an inexpensive but attractive wooden storage bench. It was okay for a year or two but completely fell apart this winter.
This storage bench is a heavy plastic or vinyl. Maybe a Teak wood would have more class, but it would not outlast this one and this is an excelllent product for the money.

I'm disappointed at the very thin plastic. It snaps together so the seams aren't tight. I'm worried that it'll be blown about in windy weather or worse yet leak. Time will tell. The size is good and it fits thick pillows comfortably.
