Wish I had never bought this. It is nearly impossible to have enough hands to get it to roll back into the box. You have to hand feed the guide and then it sticks and you have a big wad in one spot while trying to hang on to the box and turn the crank at the same time. Piece of junk!!! We have another one that is not as pretty as this, same brand, that swivels and has an automatic guide. It is really nice and only cost $10 more. I just thought this one would be prettier for our front yard. If it hadn't be so inconvenient, I would have sent this one back!

lots of plastic. hose connections look flimsy. time will tell as to how they hold up. hooked unit up and nothing is leaking as of now. i give the unit a plus for appearance. i thought the wind up guide was on a screw base and moved with the crank. not so; one must move the guide by hand while cranking hose onto reel. this is very awkward to do, as the box is very light and wants to move all over the place as you use one hand to crank and the other to move the guide. another person must hold the "wicker" box down while performing this maneuver.since i usually am alone when using the hose, i think there at least should be some kind of extension one can step on to try to hold the unit in place while winding the hose and moving the guide. stupid, thoughtless design.
also, there were two metal rods included. one end is straight, the other is hooked. i have no idea what they are for.
