Utilizing thermoelectric heating technology, this savvy cooler will heat or cool itself once the ambient temperature rises or falls below its set temperature. Dual-zone temperature control allows you to store both red and white wines at their ideal temperatures in the same unit. The top portion of the cooler, ideal for white wines or champagne, holds six bottles at a time and can be set from 44 to 64 degrees Fahrenheit, while the bottom portion holds 15 bottles at 51 to 64 degrees Fahrenheit.
Thermoelectric technology is environmentally friendly and requires no refrigerant. Additionally, because no compressor is used, the unit operates quietly and does not vibrate, preserving your wine's integrity by not disturbing bottle sediment. The cooler's streamlined and sleek exterior is ideal for discreet storage in your dining room, or in smaller kitchens that lack extra counter space. Unit was received without a handle which is suppose to be resent separately.
Biggest problem is that the dual temp settings do not work. The white wine section does not go any lower than 54 even though I have set it at 47. The instructions do state that temperature range does fit within those parameters.
Finally, the racks really are not spaced far enough from each other to fit most bottle sizes.
