So this huge composter arrived in a battered box with no instructions and with lock together corners that are too long for one person to fit together. One edge was warped from the poor packaging and is impossible to slip into place. The bottom is a two piece slide thing that does not lock so is practically useless. Not worth the time, money, or hassle. A big disappointment in my opinion.

The composter was fairly easy to assemble, with good instructions. It is probably not as rigid as some other composters, but with such a low price it is certainly a good value. Hayneedle shipped it very quickly and inexpensively. I would recommend it.

This bin is bigger than it looks in the photos: it's a perfect size to hold lots of material. There is easy access at the bottom on all 4 sides as well as through the top. It comes with a bottom, which should help keep out any rodents. It's made of sturdy plastic and the directions are well done for putting it together. There are plenty of ventilation holes, and it blends fairly well into our back yard.
I would have rated it a 5 but (1) it took me a little longer than expected to assemble the sides: best to have 2 people doing it and (2) since I just got it, I don't know yet how well it will compost.

Plastic is a little brittle, have to be careful when trying to turn/aerate the compost.
Hinges on top lid are already beginning to detatch.
