Worth every penny. I have been able to get ranges out to 2000 yards on trees in perfect conditions. The range finder is better and faster than my leica 1200. By far the best binos in the business.

These binoculars represent the fourth pair of Swarovski's that I have owned and used extensively . The EL's were an up grade from an older pair of EL's that I had been carrying for years . I already had a great pair of binoculars but what I wanted was a great pair of binoculars with an on board range finder . Through the years I have owned at least six range finders and none of them were worth the effort it required to tote them around . The Swarovski EL range bino's are the best out there . The optics are about as good as it gets and the range finder is excellent . During the 2012 hunting season I used the EL's and the SHOOTER ballistic program . We took a 193 mule deer near Grants New Mexico at a range of 557 . Later in the year , just west of Marfa Texas we took two mule deer bucks that were between 725 and 750 yds . This week we took two wild hogs ( south texas is lousy with them ) at ranges of 435 and 585 yds . Long range shooting is a sport that requires a good shooter , excellent equipment and a lot of practice . The key to it all boils down to one main factor . HOW FAR IS IT ? That's when these EL's become one of your most prized pieces of equipment . I hope this helps you out . I don't often write about a product but these bino's are very expensive and most people have a difficult time convincing their selves that these bino's are worth what they cost . All I can tell you is BUY THEM . You will not regret it.

Crystal clear viewing with easy to operate range finder. The rangefinder repeates very well. Follow the directions for very crisp characters which are adjusted to your own sight. You truly get what you pay for. These are expensive but are worth the money.
