I just got this today so I can't comment on how long it lasts. However right now it it awesome! It came with S hooks and chain all I need was large screws to hook to the tree which I got at [...] for a few bucks. It doesn't sink that much when you lay in it and isn't too stretchy at all. It's comfortable and looks really good in the yard. And at the unbelievably low price i would recommend this to anyone looking for a quality hammock!

This hammock is very pretty but that is the only good thing about it. The hammock is not comfortable, you always feel like it is going to flip over, it doesn't have a nice "sag". The plastic material is too taut, not stretchy, so you feel like you are balancing on a ridge that goes down the middle of your back with the sides falling away from your body, not securely cuddling you into the hammock. Also, it is too short. 6'5" doesn't work for my husband at 6'1". He hits his head on the spreader.

We just had our decks replaced. And one of them was now screaming for a hammock. I've wanted a hammock for a long time. With a quick Internet search, I found Hammocks.com and I knew that this is where my hammock would come from.
Choosing which one to get was the tough part. Our summers here in Kansas can be humid, and I know that mildew is a potential problem for hammocks. Even though we don't have a pool, I chose this poolside one because of it's water resistance and quick drying capabilities.
I've read other reviews of people commenting on the bad condition of the shipping box upon arrival, but I didn't have that experience. The box was in great shape and all contents in perfect order.
This hammock was a piece of cake to assemble...did it myself in less than ten minutes. It also will be easy to disassemble for winter storage. I'm keeping the shipping box to store the stand pipes in for winter. I will be able to put the whole thing away for winter storage in about ten minutes.
I LOVE the hammock itself. The fabric is indeed very good for quick drying. It was a bit stiff at first, but it loosened up very quickly. And it's comfortable. I knew right away that I had made the right decision when I pulled it out of the box. And the dog loves it too!
I am going to order two tie-down hammock straps next. Spreader-bar hammocks do flip if one is not careful and those straps will eliminate the potential for this.
I am thrilled with my purchase. It looks exactly like the photo on the website. I can't recommend this hammock strongly enough.
