Description
Add the Bedford Executive Desk with Optional Hutch to nearly any room of your home for a tailored and sophisticated place to study, use the computer, or write letters. Three drawers on the desk feature easy-glide motion and simple silver drawer pulls. The center drawer has a hinged front and is designed to store your computer keyboard. Beveled fronts on the other two drawers add a little detail to this otherwise simple, clean-lined desk. This versatile ebony black finish could go country chic or modern and edgy. All you'll need to do is attach the legs.
You'll get more storage for your money when you add the optional hutch. Crafted from the same material and featuring the same ebony black finish, this hutch offers two more drawers and open storage spaces. It also features wire management openings to keep cords hidden and organized.

I live in a small home where my office doubles as the second bedroom. I needed a desk that would not only look attrative, but would work in a room with a Daybed. I've always had much larger desks with several drawers (one's made for desktops), but now that I have a laptop, I wanted a cleaner look. This fit the bill on paper along with the hutch for storage. Although there were a few flaws in the black desk when it arrived (a few chips, some grooves in the drawers, etc), overall, they were not bad enough to return it.
It's very attractive & looks great in the space. Unfortunately, it's right next to some french doors, so the black wood attracts dust all day, but I love the look of it so much, I'll deal with it. It's a lovely way to complement a room that's doubling as a spare bedroom.

The desk looks very nice, the construction is solid (it's not going to fall over anytime soon). One of the drawers came with the sliders not properly screwed on. The keyboard tray drawer was the most disappointing: the face flips down, but it would not stand up straight on its own! It would bend about 1/4 of the way down in the upright position. I had to purchase drawer magnets and install those to make it work like it should. I would have returned this desk once I got it, but after the hassle of having a friend help me carry the huge package up my stairs, getting all the pieces out of the packaging, and assembling everything together, there was no way I was going to disassemble, repackage, and ship back at that point.
This desk is doing the job fine and looks nice for now. I was hoping to buy a piece of furniture that would last a lifetime -- I don't think this is it :(

I ordered two desks for business. The desk is attractive in design and is well made. Unfortunately, both desks were damaged in shipping.
Service and delivery comments:
Both desks arrived with broken drop down drawers. The screws are too short to repair. The manufacturer should remove the drop down drawer for shipping purposes. I am still waiting for information regarding replacement. A follow up email or phone call from customer service would be nice.

The product is just for looks. But it is gorgeous!
Service and delivery comments:
Product was in perfect condition, but the delivery by Fed ex ground was ridiculous. Trying to get it delivered without knowing at what time on the date it was scheduled for delivery was upsetting. I even called Fedex ground a few times and was given all sorts of deliver times and was given wrong times all day long on the delivery date so it took three attempts to deliver. Finally it came the next morning.
