The spacious parquet butcher block top and twin solid wood shelves were made from one of the worlds finest hardwoods - rubberwood. Set on four precision locking casters, this portable space saver can also serve as a secure locked-in-place workstation. The folding kitchen cart is engineered with a patented multi-hinge system that allows the entire assembly (20.5L x 30W x 36H inches) to fold easily into an area only 5.5 inches wide. Folding the portable island is easy; just flip the top over the side and fold up the shelves. I am amazed and so pleased at the quality of this folding island. The quality far exceeds my expectations for the price I paid. I had planned to use it as temporary extra counter space for my vacation home but it looks so good in the kitchen, I am leaving it there permanently!

I am using this product permanently next to my kitchen counter for extra work space and storage. It looks great with the butcher block top and its folding capacity is a plus. Although it folds up easily it doesn't stand up alone and needs to be leaned up against a wall. All in all its uses are many. It can be used outdoors for an extra buffet space and in a kitchen where more counter space is needed. You will not be disappointed. This product has exceeded my expectations.

Although I just received it,it has exceeded my expectations and I am very pleased with this product. This island fits right next to my kitchen counter and its perfect for extra work space and storing pots, bowls etc. I'm using it as a permanent island but it can also fold up quite easily when not in use and stored against a wall since it does not stand up on its own. It looks great too. Very well made and quite sturdy.

I have small galley kitchen. Not practical (or can't afford) to add more counters, so this is a good solution. Moves from room to room easily, just wish that I didn't have to prop it against a wall after I fold it up. It came very well packed and is heavy, sturdy.
