Usually not a review writer but felt I had to pay it forward. All the prior reviews helped me decide to order this esp the one that said the color is more cherry than oak. That was SPOT on. SO if you are looking for true oak keep looking. I was looking for cherry to match my existing furniture. It matches perfectly! This is a very well made piece for a great price. I have been looking for a desk like this everywhere but all others were simply too wide. This fits my MAC computer perfectly, love the drawers to keep clutter to a minimum. Very easy to assemble although some of the bolts were a real pain to tighten because of the location of the drawer tracks. LOVE it. Would highly recommend. Did not get the hutch because my desk backs up to a couch and did not need it.

This desk was clearly not built by [@]. Study. Simple, traditional design. With the business casual of wood finishes (more to the business side). I deducted a point for how sloppy the drawer feels in its slot, but that's a minor complaint. The desk fits prominently into my room's brown/burgundy color scheme.
