This is the most beautiful Italian Staunton Chessmen set I have ever seen, while it is very functional it is a beautiful set. I have a beautiful inlaid board on top of my piano and this sets looks STUNNING. It definitely is the first thing people notice when they walk in my living room. The two things I really like is that the gold and sliver never tarnish or I should say my maid was glad the pieces do not tarnish...... and the weight of each piece they are really heavy!!! Thanks again Chesssets.com for the exquisite chessmen set
