Comments about Real Good Toys Lancaster Dollhouse Kit in Milled MDF:
This is a very nice and sturdy dollhouse. Nice design. I didn't like the front door that came with the house so I purchased a larger door with more detail and sidelights. I was alittle dissapointed because on the picture it reflects that the dormers are milled wood like the siding, but they weren't milled at all. Very minor issue overall.

Comments about Real Good Toys Lancaster Dollhouse Kit in Milled MDF:
For the most part this was a straight forward kit to assemble. I needed about 60 hours to complete. About a third of that was in shingling the roof/porch/dormers, not counting dyeing the shingles. While most of the kit was of good quality, some parts were in my opinion substandard. For example the door and shutters consisted of simply blocks of wood glued on top of each other. I opted to purchase separately and install a door and shutters that were true paneled pieces. Similarly, the dormers were simply pieces of plain plywood, not milled clapboard like the rest of the house. They suggest stuccoing or shingling the dormers. I opted for covering them with clapboard siding to match the rest of the house. The decorative trim for the dormers was a crudely die cut piece not a crisp laser cut piece. Unlike some kits the shingles were included although I had to buy shingle dye separatly. The manufacturer could have upgraded the above mentioned pieces and included some shingle dye for a couple of dollars more and it would resulted in a significantly improved end product.
