I purchased this for my 2-year old grandson's home - my daughter selected it. My grandson loves everything "choo-choo" and this chest certainly meets the requirement. Its a solid piece, colorful & "happy" and easy to assemble.

I am confident that no child can be suffocated in the box as it has a cloth bottom with escape. and the lightweight detatched top will never slam down on little fingers like the wooden hinged ones my daughter had.
My 4 yr old grandson jumped up and down for 15 minutes when he saw "Thomas",shouting "This is my best birthday ever!" He played on the built in track on the opposite lid surface for two hours before opening the rest of his presents. Now he places all of his Thomas the Engine track and trains in the box at night so the dog cannot chew them up. Already, I can envision future use as a clothing storage/drawer with side pockets for socks,shoes, or any small items . It was easy to assemble and is strong. I will buy this for every future grandchild.

I was looking for the perfect storage for my grandson's wooden Thomas trains and tracks and discovered this, works out beautifully! Easy to put together, strong and durable, grandson loves the additional play area under the lid. And all his Thomas tracks are in one spot. Love the side pockets too!!Perfect for small road signs and people!

This is a great looking toy box - it was a little difficult to put together, but after the construction was complete, the item looked great in my son's room and he was THRILLED with it!! We purchased it to store all of his Thomas battery operated train cars and track pieces. He has over 15 sets and over 35 trains and everything fit with room to spare. We are pleased with this toy box!
