The extra-large water-tight drum is rubber lined for smooth, quiet operation. Hexagonal construction turns stones evenly, and the polyvinyl barrel can't rust. Strong belt drive turns the barrel on quiet nylon bushings. The efficient electric motor has cast-aluminum housing on a steel base, and is protected by a thermal overload switch for constant safe, reliable operation. Backed by a one-year warranty.

This tumbler is cheaply made and has never worked properly. The two ends of the barrel are not symmetrical enough, causing the barrel to constantly traverse the axles until it rubs against against one of the Teflon stops. This will eventually cause enough friction that the plastic belt starts slipping on the fly wheel and the barrel is completely stopped. The belt design is poor. It should be a chain and a gear not a plastic rubber band. The fit and finish is also poor - the motor does not sit square causing poor alignment between the motor drive shaft and the large pulley that drives all the motion. I paid top dollar for this because I wanted a durable work horse. I have never even been able to get through even one complete cycle (from rough tumble to final polish) with this polisher. The barrel is rated at 12 lbs and most instructions say fill it 2/3 to 3/4 full. The motor is so undersized (and/or the plastic belts so ineffective) that even with the barrel half full the barrel stops every hour or so. This has been nothing but a disappointment from day one. Save your money.
