I have connected eight of the panels together and made a wall to block off the front fromal living and dining room. I have converted the room into my office and sitting area. It fits perfectly and the rosewood color really is attractive. I also like that the shutters can open and close.

This divider serves as a source of privacy for our family room, which doubles as a guest bedroom. During the first week of its use, it was inadvertently knocked over when our 7-year old tried to "open" it. She was knocked over, one set of hinges broke, as did the threads securing one panel of blinds. Although i like the look, was happy with the buying process and have a bit of privacy where we needed it, I'm very disappointed by how easily it broke.

We have a large dining room with a beautifully carved china cabinet and buffet. In one part of the room I have a wonderful grand piano. Hardwood flooring and lovely furnishings with bookshelves across the end of the room creates an elegant room. My husband uses one corner for his computer work that gets a little overcrowded at time. So, we chose to order the wooden screen in the darker color to hide that part of the room. It does a admirable job and is attractive as well.

I have an angled skylight that is 21 X 69. I was able to put one panel in the skylight using 4 short tension rods to block half the light. The rest is to block the sun from my bed and keep the daytime glare out of my television/PC. There is 3 steel rods that keep the blinds in the frame even on it's side and I guess to keep them blowing in the wind. All wood blinds - no faux here = very high class look plus no assembly required unless you are going to link 2 sets of panels together with the extra 2 hinges supplied. Awesome -- exactly what I needed - I am in control of the light with a thumbwheel at the top of each panel.

I was hesitant to order this screen sight unseen. Yes, the pictures were shown, but it's not the same as seeing it in front of you. When it arrived, I was more than pleased with my order. It was packed and protected very well; the workmanship was excellent. It's now displayed in the living-room and looks quite elegant. Thank you "Hayneedle".
